Coming back from PixelBuilds HQ with the latest release: the June 2024 update. We are sticking to our roots for yet another monthly update by sticking to the base, stable QPR1 release cycle, with the the latest June security patch merged straight for your device’s liking! Like this, we can ensure that if you are still rocking a Pixel 2/2XL or a Pixel 5 handset, you’ll have all the latest goodies from the best of the AOSP source code.
To summarise, here’s what have been done:
- Merged Android 14 QPR1 d2 Tag
- Merged June Platform Security Patches from Bulletin
- Refined some UI components
- Added Bluetooth menu to Quick Settings tile
- Corrected Brightness Slider Levels
- Updated Noto Fonts (No more missing emojis)
- Add Google Play Integrity workarounds
- Some minor performance improvements

Device Lineup
The OTA updates are rolling for the following devices that are currenly maintained:
- Google Pixel 2 XL (taimen)
- Google Pixel 3 (blueline)
- Google Pixel 3 XL (crosshatch)
- Google Pixel 3a (sargo)
- Google Pixel 3a XL (bonito)
- Google Pixel 4 (flame)
- Google Pixel 4 XL (coral)
- Google Pixel 4a (sunfish)
- Motorola One Fusion+ (liber)
- Google Pixel 4a 5G (bramble)
- Google Pixel 5 (redfin)
For future reference, keep an eye out for barbet in the meantime as it is transit on it’s way to PixelBoot for its initial release:
Alongside that, testing has begun for the smaller Pixel 2 handset since we currently do not own the model for our own testing, so make sure to keep an eye out if you’re patiently waiting on your own walleye device:
